Privacy Policy

ExecFence is built to protect you, and to know as little about you as possible.

The short version

• ExecFence does not collect your personal information.
• It does not send anything to us or any server. All analysis happens on your own device.
• It never reads your system clipboard — it only inspects text a page itself writes, to check whether it's a dangerous command.
• It does not track your browsing history and requests no access to it.

What it stores on your device

Only in your own browser's local storage: your settings, and a local history of warnings (the site, time, which rule matched, and a one-way SHA-256 hash of the command — never the command text). You can view, export, or delete this any time. None of it leaves your device.

What it does not do

No analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, no third-party trackers. No selling or sharing of data — because none is collected. No remote code: everything it runs ships inside the package.

Permissions

One permission, storage, used only to save the settings and local history above. No access to browsing history, no network requests.
